Make select data always visible during mission editing?

Shawn Gano

Does anyone know how (or if it is possible) to make some data always visible when editing a mission (such as in the bar where the title is displayed)?     Specifically, while creating a mapping mission I would always like to be able to see the current mission time estimate, total area, and number of batteries needed.   The reason I would like to always see the mission time is that so when I adjust things, such as the path angle, I can see how that effects the total mission time and can then find the optimum angle that gives the lowest time quickly and visually (or how different altitudes impact mission time).  So far I have just been having to adjust the angle, then open the estimate window, and repeat, until I think I have something decent, which takes a lot of clicking. Thanks!

Moving to feature requests, but aside from the map size (which already shows if you expand the component list), details like the time probably won't happen any time soon because generating estimates is not instantaneous.

Copy and thanks Jim!  It was mainly a genuine question but appreciate converting it to a a feature request.  I understand it may not have a high priority.

The reason I asked was because it was something that, Map Pilot Pro, Drone Deploy, and Copterus (see screenshots below) all do and I found quite useful so I just figured I was doing something wrong.  Though maybe their time and battery estimates are not as accurate and why they can update them even while dragging the mapping area boundary points and angle of flight in real-time.

Screenshots added for future reference/examples if this request is considered for implementation.

maybe their time and battery estimates are not as accurate

Yes. Will include this as part of the feature request (willing to have a less accurate, but faster estimate).
