Mavic Mini Pro 3 paired with RC Pro Controller, simple mapping mission camera disconnected

Brian Etkin

Good day,

All my firmware is up-to-date. Disabled the DJ fly app and As soon as drone needed to take photos for the mapping mission camera disconnect appeared, repeatedly restarted so it could complete the short mission, under 3 minutes

No photos were taken unfortunately, Thought it would at least take the photos

Then tried simple Orbital and mission crashed it RTH

I was hoping for better results. I purchased the RC Pro controller, thinking this was no longer beta, Should be more stable?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Disabled the DJ fly app

Did you do it as discussed here?

    https://support.dronelink.com/hc/en-us/articles/13139796197011-How-properly-close-the-DJI-Pilot-App-on-Remote-Controllers-with-Screens-DJI-monitors-

    camera disconnect appeared, repeatedly restarted

Do you mean the drone disconnected, or the app crashed?

thinking this was no longer beta

The Mini 3 is still beta.

    Should be more stable

Our testing has shown the RC Pro to be very stable. All the crashes that have been reported are with people using their own Android devices:

Thank you very much for your response Jim

I tried camera /video with DJ app and it will not take a photo as well.

I’m going to do a re-install of all of my software and see if this resolves the situation

Brian. This may sound silly but since it is not taking footage with DJI app does it have an SD card installed. If so is it set to record on SD card ? It it was turn did you try pulling the SD card out and checking it for the photos with a PC/Device adapter. If it’s set to internal storage it doesn’t hold much and may be full as well. Also suggest doing a full format on SD card just to make sure. Seems like it’s something simple like storage. If still not working after you go through everything seeing the plan may help just to make sure it is set up correctly for photos. Good luck.

    Thank you for your suggestion

Internal memory is empty, brand new RC and drone , so no media on it

also had external SD card in it

worked yesterday and took about two or three photos

Ok Brian. If not working with the DJI App then there must be something else. That is a problem and I’d contact DJI and see if they can help.
