Professional vs Hobbyist

Armond M

A few questions that seem there are no specific answers for:

You cannot upgrade from a Hobbyist plan, which only allows recreational flights, to a Professional plan. Instead, you need to create a second account for your commercial flights, and you can have more than one account associated with the same user profile.

If you want to merge a Hobbyist account with Professional account, please contact support@dronelink.com

The same user profile means also the same email address associated with both accounts?

What does "metered usage" mean?

If you can help that would be great.  I would appreciate more constructive feedback than that.

All of the Professional plans used to charge for metered usage, but now only the Enterprise plan is in this category. I updated the support article to be more accurate.

User profile = email address, yes. You don’t have to have each account under one email, but it makes it easier to switch between them if you do.

    Thanks for clarifying.

I'm still unclear about what metered use means.  Does that mean that there is a flight time cost associated with using the drone?  So the cost is the subscription + use?

If so, is there a chart showing the cost of use?

Please correct me if I'm not understanding correctly.

    Thanks.

Sorry there how was a typo in my post: I mean to say: now only the Enterprise plan is in this category. If you are interested in the Enterprise plan and how the pricing works, you can email sales@dronelink.com. The Start and Growth plans are not metered.
