Seeking Help with Dronelink Test Plan: Two Issues (or may be bugs) Encountered as a Beginner
How can I resolve two issues with my test plan in Dronelink that I am encountering as a beginner and require assistance from experienced users? It is possible that one or both of these issues may be due to a bug.
The first issue is that when I right-click on the reference and select "move all components" it only moves the reference and not the other components.
The second issue is related to the behavior of the drone (heading change) between path action 2 and path action 3, which changes when I delete the Point of Interest Alpha. When Point of Interest Alpha is included, the drone's heading remains unchanged. However, when I delete the point of interest, the heading changes. I am unsure why this change in behavior is occurring.
Here's the link to my test plan for reference: https://app.dronelink.com/davit-harutyunyan/my-test-public-plans/plan/oEgsaVPZ0CAHUngfliQE/VRb2GeL09jGMYSx9nNI1
I appreciate any help or insight that experienced Dronelink users can provide.

I just tried on one of my plans it it moves everything. Don’t right click on the purple reference pin as that will not move the plan. Right click on the map where you want the plan to be moved to then select move all components. It will move the reference pin to where you selected it on the Map and move everything to that location. I’ll take a look at your plan and see what what is happening and get back to you if no one else has.
Mike, thanks a lot, it works!
👍🏼. Glad it helped.
I took a look at your plan and you have several settings pertaining to the drones heading while flying along the path from waypoint A to C. Not sure what you’re looking to create but I believe the issue is you have waypoint B with drone heading set to 0° base on North. So it is performing that heading but the POI’s are also trying to point where you have them when transitioning between each component. What you may need to do delete the drones headings on the waypoints. Otherwise the heading is trying to figure out what to do between each POI and waypoint.
You can look at this and see if it’s close to what you want and make changes. I removed the drones heading on both waypoints B & C so there is no confusion on where the drone needs to point. Now just the POI’s are controlling the heading to focus on where you want. Also added POI A on Path action 2 which had nothing set on it. This way it will stay on POI - A until you want it to start transitioning to POI - B. You can slide path action 2 along the path depending on where you want it start the transition. As I said, I’m not sure what you’re looking to create but with just the POI’s it works but it may depend on how and where you want it to transition.

Thank you so much, Mike. I'm currently trying to deepen my understanding of the logic behind this, so I'm experimenting with different parameters to uncover what's happening and why. My initial understanding was that the parameters for the waypoints affected the drone's movements in advance, during approach, while the parameters for the path action had an immediate impact once the drone reached the action. However, I may have been mistaken, so I'm exploring different scenarios to gain further insight.
I would like to express my gratitude for your willingness to advise.
Glad to help. Yes, the interpolations definitely changes the behavior. If set to None then it won’t be implemented until it reaches the waypoint or path action. If set to Linear or Curved it will start interpolating before reaching the action so it will be implemented by the time it arrives at the location. Just depends on how you want it to look. Also remember when adding several different actions on a waypoint or path action all the parameters set will use the same interpolation. So any heading, speed, altitude etc will use the same setting. I use a good amount of path actions instead of at waypoints because it gives me better control of each function independently to look how I want. It does take time to lean all of Dronelinks abilities. Many pilots on here and can be very helpful. Good luck Davit.
