App crash on startup - Galaxy A13 5G
Hello all, new user here.
Trying to run current version of Dronelink app (4.4.2) on a Samsung Galaxy A13 5G phone, and it crashes on startup. The application loads for some 2 seconds and that's it. I've tried to roll back to an earlier version (4.4.0), same result.
Is there a fix for this? A more stable version?
Please help!

Do you have another device you can try Dronelink with to see if the issue is device specific?
Thanks for following up.
Yes, I was able to install the app on an old 6th generation iPad (OS 15.4) and an old Motorolla Android 8 phone, in both cases the app doesn't crash but I do get a "low performance device" warning. Is it safe to use drone with those devices? Seems more optimal to use the more recent device. Any way to fix this?
It appears that this may be an issue with an outdated version of the Mapbox SDK that we are using on Android. We are currently in the process of upgrading to the latest version of their SDK and will let you know when there is a build to test. Thanks for your patience!
Thanks for the quick response, much appreciated! That's too bad. Yes, I'll be happy to test it out once it's available.
The upcoming 4.7.0 beta has the new version of Mapbox if you want to test it when it comes out.
It is available now.
Dronelink DJI 4.7.0 beta has not started yet. This fix was addressing the Mapbox issue in Dronelink in the original post of this thread.
The 4.6.0 beta is over.
Should be available now.
Thanks for the report - replaced the 260 with a hotfix version if you want to try downloading again. Please start a new thread in the future as this one is more concerned with Dronelink (not Dronelink DJI) and the Mapbox crashing issue.
Thanks for the follow-up. I just tried the beta (4.7.0) and lauched the app: it still crashes almost immediately. Same device.
