Mini 3 pro no telemetry in Beta

Colin McPherson

Connected successfully to my Air 2s and completed waypoint mission using Beta. Mini 3 Pro reports no telemetry so no video on phone. Reporting 'encoding error', suggested restart of aircraft but no change following this procedure. Same symptoms before and after mini 3 pro firmware update today.

Beta 4.5.0: In addition to 'No telemetry' app reports 'Drone disconnected' and 'connect to remote controller' but Mini 3 pro responds to commands and will fly - obviously not far without video!

You downloaded the Droneink - DJI APK for the Mini 3 Pro test correct? To be clear it is different from the Dronelink APK, which is used to conncet to the Air 2S.

Sorry, not correct version. For mini 3 pro it's Dronelink DJI. I downloaded true version, but with Samsung S10 I can just open the app but it's closing after few seconds with a bug message.

What firmware version of Mini3 Pro is required for Dronelink Beta? I do not want to update to higher than 01.03.0100 because it forces remote ID.

We haven’t tested anything other than the latest, and I doubt it will work on previous versions.

hi Jim, had dowloaded 64 bit apk so now got DJi apk for m3p. Still no video, frequent crashes - did complete short flight, RTH a bit loose. App reports camera not connected. Samsung A22 phone reports bug in app.

Crashed on Android12. But it does not crash when the controller is disconnected. SQ1A.211205.008, Pixel4

Running Dronelink DJi 4.5.0 (240) Kernel 4.5.0 on Samsung Galaxy A22 5G, Android 13, Android security patch 1 January 2023.

Restarted phone, app loads, sometimes appears to crash after a few seconds but actually cuts to background operation, screen tap restores foreground view. App seems to be working except for camera view and various camera functions. I can view and alter histogram, change some EV settings (notice it's a drop down selection now), but won't select 'custom'. Video is recording to sd card in both mp4 and mov. App continues often to switch to background when 3 dots are selected.

DJI has stated that MSDKv5 may not be compatible with Android 13, and could be causing the app crashes and no video feed. They are currently looking into it.

I tested the beta version with a mini 3 pro and the RC-N1 controller and a Samsung S22 phone. It connected and I was able to fly a mapping mission. It seemed to work fine.

Good afternoon, this week I went to develop a job with my dji mini 3 drone, previously I did the planning and when carrying out the mission, it does not have telemetry and I have a HUAWEI 6.10.1.310 P30 cell phone with Android, you need help to solve this situation and I have a premium account, thank you.

Good afternoon Jim McAndrew , I'm having problems with the connection of my mini 3, it tells me I don't have telemetry and it doesn't give me the video and I can't fly. I have a samsung A14. I will appreciate your answer.

Do you have the correct app downloaded?

Jim McAndrew I was able to solve it by installing the application again and forcing dji-fly to close and it manages to get a connection.
But now I have a problem when entering the drone camera, it does not give me an image, on one occasion I tried to carry out the flight plan but the application closed mid-flight.
