the RC and HD indicators

Alejandro Dabroy

Greetings everyone, I have a curiosity, in the mobile application, the RC and HD indicators generally never go down, they always remain full, while in the DJI FLY application the indicators do go down and up until they change color.

It is simply a doubt if that is how it should be.

Mine go up and down.  The range on modern drones is insane, so perhaps you are just within range?

Perform the same flight pattern with DJI and with Dronelink, and DJI fluctuates while Dronelink doesn't flinch, I think Dronelink is better optimized

Not sure what it would be different but I’ve never had anything other then full signal bars with both apps at 1,500 to 2,000 feet with my MA2. It’s Always set to the default Dual-Band auto switching. Only thing I can think of is when flying with DL you may be paying more attention to the drone during flight and possibly positioning the antennas more towards the drone. Which drone and controller is it ? DL uses whatever is set in the drones firmware for all settings so I would think the Ocusync should work the same. Not sure why it would be different. Curious…

It could be as simple as something like one refreshes faster than another - e.g.  The FLY app updates more often and so catches the fluctuations whereas DL updates less often.  100% speculation on my part - no special knowledge here.
