DJI Phantom 4 Advanced Remote Controller with Built-In Screen

Scott Muller

I successfully installed the APKs on the remote controller and logged into the Dronelink app.

I took some standard photos through the DJI GO 4 app built into the remote and then loaded up the Dronelink app. I couldn't get the mission to run, but I'm not too worried about that.

The issue I had is that when I went back to the DJI GO 4 app to try and land my drone, it wouldn't connect to my drone. The only way I could regain any control was back in the Dronelink app, and without the return to home or precision landing functions I couldn't actually get my drones propellers to turn off. I basically had to let it however until it ran out of battery and landed.

Should I be able to switch between the Dronelink app and DJI GO 4 app? Or once Dronelink is loaded, are you not able to return to the DJI GO 4 app on these remote controllers with the built in screen?

There can only be one app connected to a drone at once. You need to force quit any apps that are in the background that might still be connected.

    Hi Jim

Ted Seldon here. New Mavic mini owner. Question on forcing drone link or DJI Fly app. After forcing the current app that is running do i have to stop and restart the Remote Controller?

    Thank you for you time
