True Autonomous Waypoint Missions
I currently fly a DJI Phantom 4 and a Mavic 2 Pro . I am considering a Mavic Mini for backpacking but would need to fly autonomous waypoints even when disconnected from the controller and I want to fly the same waypoint missions as planned for the Phantom and M2P . Does Dronelink have this capability ?
Also, which of your "one time" plans is suitable for my application ??

Dronelink does not current support onboard waypoints (learn more), b you can upvote onboard compatibility here. Having said that, it is unlikely that DJI will ever add onboard waypoint support to the Mini, so don't hold your breath.
If you are flying for recreational purposes, then you need Premium or better, but you should compare all the features first.
If you are flying for commercial purposes, then you need Starter or better.

My Parrot Disco and Bebop2 both have autonomous waypoints. The app sends the mission to the UAVs' memories and away they go. Being tied to the controller can be a burden, especially when mapping, as I've experienced erratic behaviour when connection is momentarily lost.
It would be great if the mission (mapping or waypoint) could be sent to the UAV (mine's a Mini/Mini2) and the UAV does the rest - including returning home for battery changes when doing mapping missions.
With the drive from authorities forcing the use of sub-250g UAVs and with Autel currently pushing hard against DJI, this is a feature that would be very much in the commercial interests of DJI, going forwards.
We added the ability to upload waypoints already (several months ago), but the Mini and Mini 2 do not support onboard waypoints. DJI has not released a consumer drone since the Mavic 2 Pro that supports onboard waypoints and we have no control over this.

If the Mavic 2 Pro had onboard waypoints and if that is somewhere in their SDK (I guess it must be) then enabling the feature on their UAV range would be a brilliant advantage for their customers.
Do you have a protocol for lobbying DJI (in general and specifically for sought-after features)?
