Multiple Photos / Elevations
Still a new user, and trying to come up with the best workflow/methodology.
I have a location I want to shoot again, and I want to re-use the "waypoints"; of course I didn't use dronelink the first time, so now I'm using Exif/Flight Record Data. What's dirty is that there are trees and powerlines everywhere, so I want to program it to go to 150' between each waypoint/shot.
Question #1 (Multiple Individual Shots):
When I tell it to go to the destination, is it best to:
- Automatic Photo Capture within the Destination setting; or
- tell it to wait 3 seconds, Start Camera Capture, Stop Camera capture
Question #2 (Up and Down between waypoints):
Currently, I am programming it like:
- Destination 1 a (location 1) - 150'
- Destination 1 b (location 1) - 12'
- Destination 1 c (location 1) - 150'
- Destination 2 a (location 2) - 150'
- Destination 2 b (location 2) - 45'
- Destination 2 c (location 2) - 150'
- etc.
It's three components a shot, and is taking forever.
- Is it better to remove the "c"'s and just program it to be within 5' of the next destination height? (I had drifting in the preview and freaked out)
- Would it be faster to just program "disengage" after every waypoint and manually shoot, and then launch next component/resume mission?
Question #3 (Copying Components):
- Using the copy button within the component copies everything except the lat/long, as it asks you to place it on the map. I place it "on" the previous component it should be a carbon-copy of, but the lat/long changes, and I have to re-do those. Is there a better way?
I'm hitting a wall on this, there are a lot of things I shot in the winter that I'd like to shoot over the seasons, but it is taking way too long, it would be faster for me to just manually shoot it by the amount of time I've spent on lat, long, altitude x 3, heading, gimbal pitch x 1 for every waypoint.
Sorry for the Newb questions...
