You can upgrade from Mapper to Elite here if you are mapping for recreational purposes.

If you are flying for Business then you need to be on one of the business plans.

You cannot fly maps for business with the Elite plan. You either need to upgrade to Starter, or have two separate accounts (Mapper for business mapping flights) and one of the Hobbyist plans for recreational flights.

Thanks Jim , could you plz specify flying for buisness. I intend to fly over my property and map it for personal use . I like the fact that elite plan has an option to export to google maps which isn't available on mapper plan .Thanks

Flying for business means making money for flying.

Hi Jim, it is clear I do not wish to use drone for commercial purposes but only personal use so no buisness plan

    a few question

    1) Is there a restriction to number of minutes or missions in the elite plan if yes how much ?

    2) any other restriction that may be not mentioned in the elite plan but is available in the mapper.

    Thanks
