Battery not detected message

Ian Collis

I flew my first test mission this week with my MA2 and Version 2.2.0 (142).

I used the Map component to map a 18.6ha site which involved one battery swap and executed perfectly.

I noticed one issue. An error message intermittently flashed red along the top of the screen saying 'Battery not detected...'. It doesn't persist long enough to even read the entire message and seemed to have no effect on the flight. The message was present using the first and second battery.

Should I be concerned?

We just report any errors that the DJI SDK gives us. If you don't see the error in DJI Fly I think you can ignore and assume it is a bug in the DJI SDK.

I get those occasionally on two of my three batteries in both DJI Fly and Dronelink.

I would worry about it then.

I've never seen it in DJI Fly.

I’ve never had any messages but This is the First thing to do when any issues with drone. Do a complete refresh of firmware with DJI Assistant 2 on drone and controller. Then go though everything and calibrate IMU, Compass etc.. Delete the app and reinstall. It may seem simple but a good amount of the time it may fix certain issues with drone operation. This is the first thing a Customer Service Rep will tell you to do before sending it in for inspection and possible repair. It Won’t hurt and takes little time.

    Good luck. Mike.....
