New Version 2.2.0 build (142)

Flew a couple missions yesterday. MA2 Using IPad Mini 5 with the newest IOS update to 14.4.1. Both mission flew flawlessly and the Video feed was smooth as silk. Looks like whatever was causing some issues with jerky video have hopefully been resolved. I continue to be extremely happy with the App. All video, photos, gimbal and elevation markers worked great.

Only had one issue on the start of first attempted mission. For some reason right after the start of mission while ascending up it said “mission stopped” and brought up a message window saying “control override” GPS. I recorded the screen this time just incase any issue came up.  Noticed it was not indicating switching from GPS to Joystick” but APAS instead when this first mission failed. Not sure why it did this but the next two missions were flawless as I stated. 15 Satellites prior to starting mission.

Not sure if it may be a bug or a known issue which happens on occasion. Let me know if there is anything I can do on my end. As always, I restart my IPad every time before I use either DL or DJI Fly app. I went ahead and restarted it again before the next two missions and they were perfect as I stated above.

One last thing to mention is the distance displayed on startup. It usually displays anywhere from about 50 to 100 feet off. I’m not worried about it but maybe it’s a bug. Just for info...

Looking great Jim. Thanks, Mike....

You have to disable APAS in DJI Fly.

    Hi Mike,

I had the same control override mission abort on the previous build once as well. I thought I might have moved the joystick accidentally. I tried the same mission again without a problem.

Ok Jim. It’s always been enabled and works except for this one time. I was under the the impression it still works with DL and it has some commands in the components lists. Anyway, I’ll just turn off before any Mission at this point. No big deal.

    Thanks, Mike....

We tried it with APAS on a few days ago and it failed every time.

Understood. I Did a couple more missions again and ran flawlessly.
As I stated in previous post the distance on takeoff has been off 50 to 100 feet. Maybe you are working it. It’s no biggie to me, just a observation. All good and looking forward to running a few different missions since it’s warming up. Video feed was smooth as in the Fly app again. Seems to be working beautifully.

    Thanks, Mike....
