First two missions.... weird stuff (controller buttons) (SD Card)
I flew a few test missions, and a few things happened.
I'm running the latest beta 2.2.0 2241 on a DJI Smart Controller with a MA2.
it didn't save to the SD card. a prompt came up that it was going to switch to the SD card at one point.
The C-buttons underneath don't work unless DJI Fly is opened first. (I had rebooted the air unit and the radio and gone right into Droneline).
Whatever I did, my latest test flight worked, but I think it's opening DJI Fly first, then Dronelink.
Also, I tried to preview the pictures on the craft using the DJI Fly app, and it only shows me the pictures taken while the DJI fly app was simultaneously open, while dronelink is working in the background.
Please let me know if I'm supposed to:
Boot MA2, boot SC, open DJI Fly, hit Fly, then open Dronelink for this all to work properly? I'm charging and going to do another couple of test flights using this method.
I found the video to be more choppy than normal, I'm wondering if it's because I have 2 apps open at the same time?
Other than that, I'm like super-impressed with the first couple of trial runs.

I don’t have a SC so I don’t know about some of those issues. However, Regarding the DJI fly app, yes it should not be running at same time. My DJI Fly app is setup to open on startup automatically. I like to ensure it specifically updates home-point and loads camera, satellites etc. I always wait for a couple minutes just to make sure it’s all ready to go. Once it’s ready I close the DJI Fly app and then open Dronelink. Regarding the photos and videos, it will not record to DJI Fly app since it should not be opened as explained earlier. However, all videos and photos should always record to the SD card in drone which can obviously be watched, transferred to device or transferred directly from SD card to a PC etc. Which ever way you prefer to download them. I haven’t been able to try the newer (142) build yet but curious to see if any difference in smoother video feed since last build.
I’m sure Jim can help with the SC and and other questions.
I Hope some of this help you. Enjoy, Mike........
Great, thank you for your detailed response. I searched for an answer first and see that you're a great contributor.
I will try your workflow and see if that fixes that issue for me.
The other thing I noticed on the SC:
If I'm in photo mode and I click on the video button on the device, it switches and starts video, as opposed to just switching modes like dji fly. And, the photo button will take a photo in photo mode, but won't switch to photo mode from video mode.
