Diagonal altitude

Gilbert Despeghel

How do I have to set the parameters to climb slowly from one height to the next point in stead of first climbing and then flying to the next point.

I own a Mavic Mini1

I use the markers to set the altitude and the interpolation curved.

Agree with previous comment. It’s easy with markers only. You can change the elevation at any location and set the interpolation to curved. It will ascend slowly that way and works great. You can also try using AGL instead of ATL. I’ve tried it a few times and works well. It seemed to be a bit off on about two occasions but it wasn’t much. I can set mine at 60 feet and it does follow the terrain well. If I’m correct I believe the accuracy is approximately every 30 meters so it may vary depending the elevation changes. You can set it up for AGL at a higher altitude and test it to see how well it works for you. Then of all is good just lower the AGL to what your needs are. Hope this helps. Enjoy. Mike...

I want to say thank you to all of you for the tip on Markers.
You can do almost everything with these makers...I discovered lately.

    It works fine.

Another thing you need to pay attention to when planning your flight is the height of the points of interests.
This height is the offset that decides how much the gimbal should be bent.

    I share this: https://app.dronelink.com/raffaello-di-martino/vicino-casa/plan/V66XpIucZnRfCGtiRINP/1yBWzW7D3eJH0vhVx6bv

    with 200m in altitude.

although the restriction zones are not used during the flight via path, I use them so as not to be mistaken when creating the flight plan.
