I believe there is a lower quality video feed setting in DJI Fly. Have you tried turning that on?
hi jim thanks for the swift reply ,yes opened the dji fly app selected smooth instead of hd made no difference at all,,,,is there any other setting i can try on the ipad at all ?
the std dji fly footage is smooth as silk out to 6km
Jim is the beta available on Android as yet ,
if so i have a new powerful samsung s20 phone i could try.
Not that I am aware of. We have tested your exact setup many times and never experienced this issue. I am wondering if the smooth setting carries over however. I need to check and see if that option is in the DJI SDK and try forcing it in the code.
Yes on Android.
cool i can try that is it on playstore and if so will it just work on the Mavic air 2 ok ?
ok so just been out same place used dronelink and flew a perfect mission and quite complex .on screen video was nearly perfect. !! does the 4g data signal affect this at all ?
The only thing that affects it (AFAIK) is RF interference in the areas you are flying.
Yes I’ve been experiencing the same on the Beta 2.2.0 (141) MA2 beta running an iPhone XR. Extremely jerky video feed at both resolutions, rendering it unusable. Every time I exit the beta app I get the ‘App Has Crashed’ dialogue and file a report. It seems to be happening a lot more than the previously supported MA2 version (137). Is the MA2 beta at all supported on the Smart Controller? I’m wondering if I’d have more luck running with that?
