Prompt to format microSD card
I usually format my microSD card in my mac laptop (MS-DOS FAT-32 format) but Dronelink still prompts me to format the SD card every time. Last night I went to run a mission and it would not let me start the motors (P3S) until I formatted the microSD card. I usually take off manually then start the mission once in the air. As the temperature was -14C out by the time I had formatted the card and was ready to take off the battery temp had dropped too low and I could not take off. I had to swap out the battery for a warm battery. Why is Dronelink prompting for a format when the card has already been formatted and is there a way to bypass this check so that I don't have to delay so that the battery temp drops too low to take off.
Thanks,
Chris

Can you please post a screenshot of the prompt you are seeing?
Here is a screenshot. This is a microSD card formatted in my mac laptop as FAT32. It works fine in DJI GO4. Note that this problem also happens on my Spark as well and caused me to loose images when I flew with GO4 on a previous flight then switched to Dronelink. It would not let me take off until I formatted the card and I forgot that I had images from the previous flight on the card as it was cold and wanted to get up in the air before the battery cooled too much.
Just to be clear - I can fly with the formatted card on DJI GO/GO4 and record video or images then if I switch to Dronelink and try to fly a flight without changing the SDcard there will be a prompt to format the card before I can take off with either of my drones (Spark or P3S). I have Win10 installed in a Virtual machine and will see if the same thing happens if I format the card in Win10.
Screenshot from P3S
Did some further testing this time using the same microSD card that I used in the above post that I got the screenshot from. I formatted it in Win10 using the quickformat option and had the same result - Dronelink gave the error message in red prompting for a format of the microSD card. I am using the latest version of Dronelink v2.1.0 (137), Kernel v 2.1.1
So, it seems that the prompt to format the microSD card is not platform specific and must be done in the drone preferably within Dronelink. Haven't checked yet if the card is formatted in other flight software such as GO whether Dronelink will accept it but will check when I get some time later.

This error message comes from the DJI SDK (we have no control over it). If recording still works then I guess you can ignore it and we will have to add an option later to suppress the message from DJI.
Hi Jim,
Thanks for your reply. Everything still works perfectly (recording/picture taking etc.). It's just the initial prompt to format which only started appearing after the latest update. Once you format the card, everything is fine. On cold flight which is everyone of my flights at this time of year I will just have to remember to format the card at home before I head out - an easy work-around.
