show coordinates/heading in degrees during flight
Hi,
would it be possible to display coordinates of current drone position (longitude, latitude) in realtime and heading (in degrees relative to true north) during flight on native apps ? with the ability to copy them to clipboard when taping them? this would be extremely useful..
Thanks,
Marc

Not at the moment, moving to feature requests.
I'm surprised that this hasn't been implemented yet.. seems like basic functionality to me
We have been very busy adding many other features that are higher priority for the majority of our users. Our flight dashboard is actually open source (iOS | Android), so feel free to contribute if you want to see something get done faster.
An extension to this I'd like to request is to A) be able to manually enter a destination coordinate in both the web app and the native app and B) have something show up on the dashboard showing bearing and distance to that coordinate. Currently the only way I can find to set a waypoint is by either clicking on a map or by manually flying there.
I use my drone in SAR occasionally and we often get locations of our subjects from cell phone pings or E911 that may or may not be correct. If I could fly out across the swamps or other hard to cross area and see if they are in fact there, it would save a bunch of time/effort sending a search team out only to find the coordinate is wrong and we need to try again.
What format do you want to see the coordinates in?
Decimal Degrees or Decimal Minutes are what I use the most. I wrote an app that lets me quickly convert between formats so the format isn't too big a deal for me.
Ok, this will be in 4.0.0.
Awesome. Thanks!
Any chance of adding my suggestion above for being able to put in a destination coordinate and having the UI show you direction and distance to it?
decimal degrees would be most useful, with the ability to save/copy the lon,lat pair to the clipboard by tapping on it ! ;-)
