Disengage component
Disengage component
Where can I find a very detailed explanation of the “Disengage Component”.
I want to stop the drone to trim manually the exposure just before to take a picture, the final manual settings will be fixed via an Exposure Lock command.
The location, height, direction and gimbal are defined and tested in detail and programmed in the Plan.
Thank you in advance
Francis

There isn't much need for a detailed explanation. The component is the same as if you tap the pause button. The only difference is you can have it display an (optional) message to the user explaining why. In your case something like: "Time to configure the exposure settings".
hi, for me the "disengage" setting is not clear ... is it mandatory? what would the "propagate" alternative entail?
If I disabled the feature what would happen during the mission?
Thanks, Marco
If you put a disengage component into your mission it will automatically stop the mission at that point.
If this is any help, I sometimes use it in a 'video preset' list component.
Here's an example mission with three components, the first and last are lists.
In the first list component I've added the 'Disengage' just before the 'Camera Start Capture' command so I can make changes if necessary with the drone in the air.
Thanks. Am I assuming correctly that the disengage component doesn't work in mission preview? Since I'm using Pilot 2 for the pano, I don't need any other functions, but are they necessary for the disengage to work?
If it works on its own, it looks like exactly what I needed, since I only want the drone to stop at each waypoint so I can pause and switch apps (test mission included) https://app.dronelink.com/john-brainerd-5SHB75m4s5WhWmhwllmG/dbm3448076570-252-sharpless-mine-rd--swanton--md-21561/plan/x9XciGpE5fLCn7Xzr9c9/TPYnpYdPaWkAyddGeMKb
