App crashing immediately: Drone Link Beta w/ Mavic Mini

I wanted to test the new follow mode, so i downloaded the beta app. As soon as i open the app it crashes. Is there any word when these features will be released in the google play version? The app from google play seems to open and run fine, although i haven't actually flown with it yet.
