Native App not automatically updating

Recently recieved the V2.0 announcment but the Android app doesn't automatically update.

If you follow the link trail in the email it brings you to the Google Play Store page which just says the App is already installed. I had to uninstall the App and re-install the App to force the update meaining I had to re-login in and re-create my shortcuts.
