Mavic Air 2 - won't connect
Mavic Air 2 will not connect. I loaded a simple mapping flight plan built out on web app.
Start button is greyed out, drone icon on top says N/A. If i try to load a quick mission from IOS app, it fails and says I need to connect the drone.
What am I missing?

The developers removed support due to an issue with the DJI SDK. I was able to get a waypoint flight in Monday ,worked great except I didn't put a camera trigger in. No video...
Is there an estimated time on getting this fixed? I waited for this SDK to be released, I would have waited to buy the plan if it was just was going to be another waiting game. I get it, it new and things happen, I'm just wanting an estimated time on getting this fixed so i can find other options for the time being.
The version of the DJI SDK that supports the MA2 causes the app to crash. On iOS the fix seems to be uninstalling and reinstalling, but there is no fix for Android yet. The best guess from DJI is after the holidays. We did not want to delay the launch of 2.0.0 (the primary focus was the new flight modes - focus, follow, and orbit), so we had to pull it back to get our release candidate out (build 134). Once Apple approves it, we will probably very quickly upload 135 with MA2 support added again (at least for iOS), but of course it will still crash unless you did the reinstall dance.
Awesome, thanks for the feedback I will do the iPhone dance for now and I'm sure it will only improve as we go forward, I think this is a great app and I have been excited to use it.
Do I not know the right dance steps? It may be that the new build has not been released, but I am still not able to connect my MA2 with dronelink.
Also - how do I see the build that I am using? The app says version 1.7.3 (121), is this as up to date as I can be? I have deleted and re-downloaded three times over the weekend.
One more - if you are a MA2 user and are able to connect/fly a mission, please update the thread.
Thanks and I appreciate the help.
My previous post is still in affect.
I am also a new Dronelink user on iOS v1.7.3 trying today to use the dance workaround on the Mavic Air 2. Despite multiple re-installs, I am unable to connect the MA2 (which says N/A) across the top. Does this need specific permission settings? I tried putting permissions to accept all as well as force quitting DJI fly in the background. Any suggestions?
After installing 2.0.0 yesterday, it felt great to see the MA2 in the list of aircraft! I know you are working hard to clean up the bugs and I’m sure you’ll accomplish it. In the meantime, I have set up mapping missions using the MA2 and am looking forward to the first automated grid flight. Thanks for giving this update all the attention and Happy Holidays!
Small request - Will you please update your post if you have a successful gird mission? Thanks.
River Sonic - yes, I absolutely will. I am going to wait for build 135, as Jim suggested, before I try my MA2 on an automated grid mission.
