Flipping Waypoints mission from horizontal to vertical possible?
Is it possible to easily flip a waypoints mission that flies a specific shape from a horizontal to vertical orientation and keep the dimensions of the shape intact?
I have created a simple waypoint mission that flies the shape of a star. I would like to be able to flip the star vertically so that I can use the shape for light painting. Is this possible.
Thanks,
Chris

Not in Dronelink, but I think there are people that have tools that can do it in Google Earth / KML, and then you can just import it.
Thanks for your reply. I will look into this and update this thread with more info and probably more questions.

Hey Chris did you get anywhere with this? I had once found a site that would convert shapes drawn in kml on a horizontal plane to a vertical plane and then it could be flown in dronelink. Of course I now cannot find any sign of that site to try it again.
I used to use Hammer Missions which had the ability to flip waypoint missions to vertical orientation specifically for light painting but they have focused more on business applications and have abandoned that aspect of their software. I still have a version that works but it is difficult to customize it to get the desired effect and I haven't tried it in awhile.

If anyone is still looking for a way to do this... I found this on YouTube. It is for Litchi, but since it uses Google Earth should work in Dronelink.
I have NOT tried this, he goes pretty fast, and I have poor hearing which makes it tough to listen to! It looks a little rough, but maybe with some editing and altitude path adjustments it may be improved.
A couple of the links do not work, but in the comments there is one that does. It will download to shared Google Docs.
Litchi: tool for vertical drone missions for lightpainting. 99+ waypoints, rotation and shifting.
If anyone tries, maybe let us know how it works! (Or if it does.)
