Setting waypoints mid flight according to GPS location and camera direction - can it do it?

brayden mitchell

Hi guys

I have a pretty simple question which I can't seem to find an answer on anywhere.. can I set waypoints and POI mid flight according to current GPS location and camera direction? If yes, can the drone and camera direction move fluidly between each point? Long story short, can it do this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ze4XUL75zoc

If yes, can I save these missions for later use. I need to film progress of construction builds.

Cheers

Brayden

Yes and yes.  One would use the On The Fly "Path" feature to set the path and the framing at each of those marked points.  It can be saved for repeats.

Thank you - what version of Dronelink do I need to purchase to enable me to do this?

If you are flying commercially, any of the business plans, otherwise any of the hobbyist plans.

Hi guys - thanks for the replies - are you able to include some screenshots of the 'on the fly path' function so that I can record waypoints and altitude whilst flying? Is this done through the Dronelink app on my DJI Smart Controller?

And while I'm here - can I manually control drone altitude from the controller whilst it is flying a waypoint mission?
