Focus and Follow test results
I would like to summarize my comments regarding my tests about Focus and Follow function. I used Mavic Mini + iPhone8.
Focus:
1. Accuracy: Focus is working very well when you set up POI by the drone itself, If you use "Your location" option the GPS error could be 3 - 5 meters. It is coming probably from that fact that the GPS coordinates differs if you measuring it by the drone or by your mobile device. My suggestion is to use Focus with POI to avoid accuracy problem.
2. I liked the possibility to to control the drone by "North, South ... " method. I just went to a place which was souther than the area I wanted to fly, turned myself to North and independently from the drone heading I could control the drone. Now it is almost impossible to go on a line because the drone is turning constantly and I am not able to correct the direction
3. It would be great to limit the speed as I can do it in case of circle.
4. The dead time of "sticks" (maybe of software) is quite big. Even you are not flying high speed your drone will stop after release both stick 2 - 4 meters. It is dangerous because you are use your drone with different sensitivity...
5. It would be great to have a possibility to give the height of a POI.
Follow:
1. Accuracy: Follow is working quite well when you fly 15 - 20 meters or more from the RC. It is coming probably from that fact that the GPS coordinates differs if you measuring it by the drone or by your mobile device. As a result if the measuring difference is 4 - 5 meters and the drone is not farer than 8 - 10 meters it is possible that you will not appear on the video! On the other hand I think you were calculating 0 meter high of the "POI" in the previous version of the beta. In some cases only my boots were on the pictures when I tried to come close with the drone. It seems to me that this error already has been corrected in the new version.
2. The dead time of "sticks" (maybe of software) is quite big. Even you are not flying high speed your drone will stop after release both stick 2 - 4 meters. It is dangerous because you are use your drone with different sensitivity...
3. It would be great to have a possibility to give the height of a RC.
In Follow and Focus cases there is a critical point: when the drone is very close to the "POI" or to the "RC" and starting to yaw fast. In some cases I could not stop it or took over the control. I had to kill the application, load it again. I had this situation with follow mode and I thought it has to stop do that if I will go away because if the distance will be ~ 10m it should be enough to calculate the right direction to look at, but it was in a death loop.

Thanks for the feedback.
On the height of the POI, you can just roll the gimbal wheel to apply a height offset.
On the stick responsiveness in Focus mode, we have already updated it to be much more responsive.
When I am marking a POI the gimbal is looking down (-90 degree), so I can not move the gimbal. When I fly the Focus the system automatically moves the gimbal. Does it mean I have to correct the gimbal all the time manualy?
If you roll the gimbal wheel while Focus mode is running (not during the setup) you will see it apply an altitude offset.
