Direction towards waypoint
Hello, I would like to fly my Matrice 200 manually but have the software controlling the direction of the drone. Reason for this is because I`m carrying a directional antenna on the drone which need to be pointing towards a ground based receiver. Please note that it`s not the camera (gimbal) that should be facing the receiver but the actual drone. Can this be achieved with dronelink?
Regards from a cold and snowy Sweden!

Look at Focus mode.
Tried to find documentation. Please send me a link. If possible. And to clarify; I need the drone heading (not the gimbal) to be locked to a waypoint or at least to the starting/home point.
Thanks for your support.

Thanx, great video! But can you or someone confirm that the drone heading remains towards the point if interest even on a drone with a gimbal that can pan eg. Inspire or Matrice? I understand that this must be the case with the smaller drones like Mavic simply because they don’t have a gimbal with pan capability.
The gimbal remains in yaw follow mode, which means it follows the nose of the drone.
Sounds good. I use a Matrice M200. In your documentation it is not listed as supported, but I cannot see why it shouldn`t work since it is basically the same drone as the M210? I guess I need the professional version of your software? And finally, is the price $39 or $59 per month?

It may work, but we don't have one and haven't tested it.
It is cheaper per month if you sign up for the annual billing.
Ok, please send me a link where I can sign up for a year at $39 per month.

Hello again!
It seems to work as far as the drone really points towards my POI or the controller GPS position.👍 (Tested with the Matrice M200 v1) However, to be able to use the function as I intended I need the drone to point (yaw) towards a position several km`s away. If it was possible to either enter coordinates for the POI or alter the coordinates set at start this could be accomplished. Can this be done in any way? If not - I’d like to add a humble request for such a function in a future upgrade. I guess it`s quite a small code mod, but would be a great feature for any POI-mission. 😇
Best regards from Sweden!
