Linear Ascent/Descent from One Pano to Another

Sean Timonen

Hello,

I am wondering if it is possible to have a linear ascent/descent from on panorama to another?  I want to take a series of panorama photos at different heights and appreciate the linear feature with waypoints.  The muscle memory from planning waypoints is the driver behind me asking.

I’m assuming the only way I can achieve a linear approach to varying pano heights is to have a waypoint placed on either side of the pano.  From example:

Pano 1 (100’)

Waypoint A (100’)

To

Waypoint B (60’)

Pano 2 (60’)

Waypoint C (60’)

To

Waypoint D (80’)

Pano 3 (80’)

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Sean

If you set a really wide altitude range then it will effectively fly straight line:
