One Point Straight Down Photo Mission

I am new to Dronelink... I can't seem to make a mission to takeoff, go to ONE spot, put gimbal straight down, take one picture and return to home. Waypoint mission has to have at least two points and no other mission types seem to fit what I am looking for. I need to come back to the same point and take the same picture over time. I am flying a DJI Mini 2. Can someone please point me in the right direction?

Probably a few ways but if you want the simplest then use Checkpoint. Just the approach to the Checkpoint and add gimbal orientation and arrival component with photo capture.

I believe Jim is referring to this type plan. Should give the same outcome. Remember though, either way you will need to set the camera with a component list or manually before the flight. ISO, Shutter etc. That’s what I used in the first plan and just added a -90° Gimbal in my component list.

Glad to help. It will take time to figure out all of the functions which DL can perform and how to set them up. In many cases there can be several ways to set up a plan to perform what you want. Eventually you will figure out what works best for each situation. Good luck.
