Ability to use a different map

James DeAngelo

I'm doing an effort to capture before and after photos/videos of an area that will be under change.  As maps are generally not updated in real time, the reconstruction of the area will not show up for years in commercially available mapping and overhead views.  I'm interested in obtaining the architects maps which would hopefully have the needed GPS coordinates I need.  The question is can I use Dronelink to import their maps and views so I can establish the mission corrections I will need.

The effort is a golf course renovation, so I suspect there are many of your customers where this capability would be a godsend.  Is this doable or can it be an add on capability?

Thank you,

Jim DeAngelo

Dronelink doesn't have the ability to import maps.  You can import maps into Google Earth, but not in 3D (or at least, I have not found a way).  If you do that and export your mission preview to Google Earth that might get you what you need.
