I was expecting 107 pictures, I got 58 but the Dronelink mission "succeded"

Fpensa

Hi, not sure if this is an actual bug, but we plan this flight

https://app.dronelink.com/magil-bim/mcci/plan/2bGQjOalnkBv9Tvc9x7Y/EvG3FzvMgjFa9MEHuh1Q

3 component, supposedly returning 58 pictures + 49 pictures + 1 video

one of my pilots flew this yesterday, he reported mission completed without issues, and the reports seems to confirm this

except that only 57 pictures and 1 video are available (in the report and in the SD card

it looks like it skipped the second component (49 pictures) but I got no error in the field or on the platform.

Any idea what the problem might be? It looks like we need to go back in the field...

You never set the photo interval, so the preview assumes it will be 2 seconds, but your drone probably had a higher setting from before.

not sure to understand, that's a setting I can set on the drone? you mean, the DJI app? and if the interval on the drone is 4 seconds and the interval on dronelink less than that, than no pictures at all are taken? that's the intended behaviour?

Also, I don't see the interval option on the mission

All camera settings including photo interval are saved on the drone when set. You can modify them from the UI in DJI Pilot/Go/Fly, or from the UI in Dronelink, or you can add them as commands in a Dronelink mission (to automate the task):

Also, I don't see the interval option on the mission

This is because you selected Automatic Capture: Photos, which simply starts the camera in interval photo for you, but it doesn't change whatever interval setting you previously selected on the drone.

Uhm, but I selected Automatic Capture : Photos for the mapping component of the mission as well, and that component worked and returned the pictures... what's the difference?

You have distance based triggering selected for the map component, so it issues single camera capture commands when the drone has gone the amount of distance that is implied by you overlap settings.
