M3E Beta Observation
Hello @Dronelink team! Just wanted to give an update. It has been slow for me commercially in December for automated flight, but I had time today to work with the M3E and resume some testing.
On the positive note, it seems like you have resolved many of the initial challenges with interoperating with the M3E! I am really happy that the rough gimbal moves have been resolved when moving from step to step. Also, I was finally able to complete a legacy mission that I have done for a client using my M2P with the M3E now.
This was a big step for me since the mission was never able to be completed with the M3E. This is due to the fact the M3E seems to have a range limitation compared to the M2P. However, I am able to fly it just fine with custom settings in the transmission section. Notably, I set it to 2.4GHz and reduce bandwidth channel width to 10Mhz. With that, I can get where needed on the mission orbits. Unfortunately, after each battery swap during a DL mission, the drone reverts back to automatic settings. I have to close DL, go into Pilot2, adjust the settings, then hard close Pilot2, then reopen DL, and LOAD and resume the mission.
Is it at all possible to somehow include the radio settings in the DL menu so I do not have to leave my Dronelink experience? I know this is a big ask, but unless DJI had the good sense to not default the settings each time, it would not be required.

Can you just add an OcuSync Frequency band command to your mission plan?
Jim McAndrew Well, I can now that i know it is there! That is awesome! I will test that later today and make sure it will apply after battery changes.
To be honest, I had not even thought of controlling that via a command in DL. Thank you sir!
That was a no go on that command Jim.
Well there’s that haha. Will implement the rest of the drone commands in the next update, but for now, enjoy the holiday :)
Definitely will, enjoy the holiday Jim!!
Just uploaded a 4.3.2 beta with these commands if you want to try it.
Heck yes! Thank you Jim!
I just flew a commercial gig today with the previous version. Everything went great! I will test the new beta tonight with the radio commands!
EDIT - It seems to work going in both directions. All working great!
Both directions meaning 2.4 to 5.8, then 5.8 to 2.4 and even 2.4 back to Dual.
