M3T beta

John Gibson
I’ve seen several topics regarding the M3E, but none mentioning the M3T. Will the M3T operate the same as the M3E? Sorry if this is a dumb question. I’ve seen on Dronedeploy that they don’t have a timeline for flight control of the M3T. I was thinking the M3E and M3T used the same SDK, but with Dronedeploy’s statement I’m questioning if the M3T’s compatibility with third party softwares.

The M3T is supported (see system requirements).

Will the M3T operate the same as the M3E

From a flight performance standpoint, yes. From a camera standpoint, we have not added indicators or menus for the thermal specific features, so you will have to setup your camera in the DJI app first.

With the new update, Is this still true that we have to do Thermal settings on the DJI App first?  I am trying to evaluate subscribing, but really want IR control from the app for SAR operations.

If you mean 4.3.2, no, it was only focused on adding the missings commands such as ocusync channel selection mode. 4.4.0 will be focused on RTK support, and after that we may get back to the thermal stuff.

when you get to the thermal stuff, keep my name, as I have a M3T and will be willing to test for you.  I will hold off subscribing until we get closer to this milestone.

    Thanks for the response.
