Five Minute Friday - Battery Swaps!
Today's Five Minute Friday is a quick one covering battery swaps.
The video shows an older version of the app because I recorded this a long time ago and never posted it. But...it still works.
Here's a link to the video: https://vimeo.com/avios/batteryswap
As always, let me know if you have any questions.

It is very simple. I am curious though. I’ve never had it ask me to confirm take off point on a swap or even if I resume a partially flown previous mission on a later date. I’m guessing it’s due to you manually starting motors and ascending up first before resuming but not sure. I’ve always resumed from the ground and I don’t get that message. Just curious.
Mike that might have been something to do with classic dashboard, but I'd thought the same
It may be the Classic, which is what I still use. I think it also happens if I have a marked take off location, but then begin from a different location. It asks to confirm, and then when I perform a battery swap it asks me to confirm again. (If I remember correctly, which certainly may be a user issue.)
Understood. Two years and I may not remember correctly but I believe it never gave that message using classic. It may be due to using Dynamic Home Point as well which would make sense. I understand if the drone has landed at a different spot but since it’s landing from where it took off I was curious. No big deal. Old age and a I’m a simple man so if it works correctly then no worries. 🤪

Correct but, since it was landing at the same spot I would think it would not indicate that messenger. As I said above, either Dynamic Home Point was used or manual launch caused that message but no big deal.
Sorry for the delayed response - it's been pretty hectic around here lately. Normally things slow down at this time of year but, so far, people keep pinging me for work. Not that I am complaining!!
To answer the question - that mission was not created by me and the start point is nowhere near where we actually fly from, which is why I we get the question when starting the mission. I can't recall if it does it when I start it on the ground or not - I'll have to check that out next time.
That makes sense. No biggie Barry. 👍🏼
