DJI Spark and Mapping
Hello - I just purchased a Premium account, and I have a Spark, which only can orient its gimbal down 85 degrees not a full 90. The mapping mission default is 90. It's saying I need to upgrade if I want to map at anything less than 90 degrees. That's silly and I'm not doing that. If there is not a workaround for this with the Spark I'd like a refund please. Thanks.

DJI spark is only capable of -85° pitch so it can’t do something it isn’t designed to perform.

Correct, which is why wrote that in my post. That's not the issue. The issue is that while the DL allows you to map at 85 degrees, it's part of the next tier up, meaning someone who wants to use the Spark, the OG budget drone, to do mapping with this program has to drop $100 for the primo tier. Not cool. Which is why I requested my money back, assuming that my understanding was correct. Which it is and they seem to be obliging my request, so it's all good.

I think what these guys that have the customer service/social skills of a giraffe are trying to tell you is that You should be fine with the default setting of -90. Have you tried it yet? I believe Mark is saying the spark will hit its limit and be ok with that. Dronelink will probably try and tell it to goto -90. You might get lucky and with the forward tilt of the aircraft, it might just be enough to = -90 and everyone's happy. Maybe I'm wrong. It wouldn't be the first time.
