Has anyone tried AGL with sharp inclines or declines, Bluffs, Cliffs etc. How was the experience?

We're building a search and rescue drone team and we'll be flying and searching mountainous country for potential survivors. Before we do a test flight, does anyone have experience, good or bad, mapping or flying in extreme mountainous conditions? Also will we be able count on DJI obstacle avoidance for any surprises?

Any tips would be appreciated
