M3E Beta - photo interval fails
For some reason, the photo interval command fails when set via a mission. Has anyone else seen this?

It has been working for us. Share a mission plan?

I have had to remove the interval setting to get these missions to complete.
Whenever using camera commands they need to be in the correct spot and have certain camera commands added to get them working. I use a camera component lists for my videos and photos to set my camera. I put a photo interval list in the spot just before Orbit #2 to set the camera and removed the one interval commands. You can adjust anything in it. Give that a try and see if works. As far as the last two camera commands, those will only set the camera but won’t do anything since they are at the very end and there is no component. I removed them but you can adjust the plan and add back in where needed. Hope this helps.

I will give that a try Mike! Thank you. Note, my mission had been working fine with M2P, but now with M3E it fails. But yes, I trust your guidance. I will incorporate into my end of week days off work to try!!!
Understood Tony. You have way more experience with all your flights. In General I believe it’s always best to use component lists to set the camera and make it much easier and quicker to place in the plan all at once from a Repo. Plus this way I don’t forget to manually set all the cameras parameters on each fight before hand and the need to stop and re-do the mission because of my old age forgetfulness. Lol….
Flight time does not show experience. : ) Maybe just area flown for some crazy projects. : )
I am loving learning new things all the time. Between you and others I am loving life with Dronelink. Essential does not even begin to describe it.
If that exact plan worked with the M2P I’m curious if the last photo settings in the DJI Go app for the M2P were set differently when you flew it. Since all the settings stick across apps I’m wondering if that’s why. Since DL says it’s been working for them I’m guessing it’s the camera setup. Example is of you last used single photos with DJI fly that’s what DL will use. It doesn’t know that you want intervals unless you set it. That’s why I set the camera mode, camera photo type and camera photo intervals. Intervals can be a bit more tricky depending on the plan. They need to be in the right place and some of them in the correct order. Probably wrong but Just a thought.
Well, I really like the completeness of your photo list. I think I need to do more with these reusable lists to get exactly what I want. I suspect you are right. It is some setting...but I would rather just use what works! ; )
If it ain’t broke then don’t fix it. Lol. The camera component lists are really great though. I have just a few for videos and photos. Don’t need a lot of them since once you add the entire list from your Repo you can add, delete or change one or two things to fit the environment. Plus add them anywhere in the plan quickly with just a couple clicks. ISO, Shutter, White Balance, FR & Res etc.. I’m sure you will get it figured out. It is strange that the same mission works with the M2 but not the M3. Very curious.
Can you update to the latest APK and try this?

Roger that. Will do! I will be working on this after mandatory family time on Turkey day. Happy thanksgiving to you Jim and the entire Dronelink crew!
Jim, the latest APK seems to have fixe the photo interval issue for me. No errors, both with my existing plan, and with my new plans that include the list of camera commands that Mike suggested. Thank you! Looking better all the time!
