Optionally allow stick inputs during missions

There are times when the ability to use the sticks to adjust a mission would be very useful.  Examples include:

  • Adjusting the radius of an orbit in or out by using the right stick (forward/back)
  • Adjusting the speed of a waypoint mission by using the right stick (forward/back)  - I know this can be done if I convert to onboard components.
  • Adjusting the yaw by using the left stick (left/right)
  • Adjusting the altitude using the left stick (up/down)

Two example cases:

  1. At a recent job the flight was slower than I would have liked - the site was huge and the 15mph I had set was too slow.  It would have been great to be able to push forward on the sticks and have it speed up.
  2. At another job I was in restricted space with an unlock zone.  An orbit hit the edge of the restriction zone and the drone stopped.  it would have been useful to be able to use the sticks to reducer the radius to clear the blockage without having to abort, change the mission and restart.

Now...there are certainly many times I do not want the stick input to affect things as it is too easy to accidentally touch a stick and cause a problem, so it would be ideal if this could be turned on and off.

Adjusting the radius of an orbit in or out by using the right stick

If you are looking for a permanent increase / decrease, this can be done already in Orbit mode. Obviously not part of a mission as that would be Orbit component, but you could plan a mission that takes you to the orbit locatoin, disengage, open on-the-fly and start Orbit mode, then resume the mission.

If you are looking for a temporary change (to get around an obstacle) you can use drone offsets.

    Both good suggestions.

I'd still like the option (based on a switch) to be able to adjust during the flight as described but, given those two suggestions, I could probably get by for now so put it on the back burner ;)
