Using 2 drones, 2 phones and 1 account at same time.

Dejan

Hello again, more questions from me :)

Now i have have question that i am not sure in answer i know.

Friend of my that has drone and i got idea to make some interesting video of recording drone in action.

I would make mission for main drone, some basic stuf and fast movements with rotations(looking back at recording drone and so)...

I would use same mission(waypoints) and change it to be more cinematic than main drone, and run it on second drone 20 sec after or so.

To do that, i would have to login at 2 devices at same time, and use 2 drones at same time. Problem is i dont have spare money to buy one more subscription just for that.

So i know its alowed to use same account on multiple devices(phone, tablet/mavic, mini2...) but using it at same time is what confuses me a bit...

Will it be considered as account sharing or so? Is it alowed?

I believe someone did this quite awhile ago. I just tried with my MA2 with my iPad and my MM with my iPhone and they both loaded. I didn’t fly them but I don’t see why they would not work. DL doesn’t need a connection to work as long as the plans have either been loaded previously when on-line or if you downloaded it for off-line use while you have service. I do believe you cannot share the account though. Since you cannot be the PIC on two drones at the same time they would need to be the other PIC and using your account. Even though I could do it I would not due to the multiple drones at same time. Doesn’t matter if they are controlled automatically. Thats an issue for the pilot to decide. That’s my 2 cents worth. Lol…. Good luck.

Using multiple devices is fine - multiple people is not.
