Mavic 3E Beta Question about availability
Apologies in advance to DL staff, feel free to move to another category if I missed the mark. I get my hands on my M3 E this week and was wondering about status of Dronelink support. I am very willing to be a part of any beta testing this with the M3 E and happy to provide feedback as well. Please advise if there is anything I can be doing this week, or if DL support of the M3E is still forthcoming.

Just completed a mission and it completed with no issue. Some observations:
1. The audio file that plays for when taking a picture is too long and doesn't have time to play between shots. Lots of times heard partial plays or nothing at all. (Would love to just have the old shutter sound back, quick and not so similiar to any other device notification.)
2. You were spot on about not having Pilot 2 open or opened than closed. It has to be removed via force kill.
3. I had to start with Pilot 2 to get the homepoint set first as it never seemed to happen in just DL. Not sure what was going on there, but I opened Piliot 2, it finally said homepoint is set, then I force closed it and went to DL, all good.
4. When the mission completed, I do not remember hearing the mission completed audio. (Maybe time to turn on confetti.)
Final non-dronelink observation, it was nice to map 30 acres in 14 minutes with 80/80 overlap. This drone plus Dronelink are game changers.
Looking forward to testing this Jim McAndrew. Does Dronelink work with the DJI RTK base station?

Currently it just plays whatever the system default is for the camera shutter in Android.
Haven't seen this issue. Are you able to reproduce it all the time? If you takeoff first in DL does it set the homepoint at that time?

No, only this one time. Found it odd, but I will look into this more.
Did you install Google Text to Speech?
No, doing that now. I usually have that installed, but had recently wiped the device.
Super... excited about the progress with M3E. Any chance of one day seeing DL control trickling down to M3C?
DJI has to release a SDK to make that possible. They are being real sketchy on doing that. Lots of DJI and DJI developer forum posts talking about their lack of concern about creating a SDK for the M3C.
While I do not speak for Dronelink, you can see how they have always aggressively added support when the tools exist.
Any updates on how the Mavic 3E beta testing is going? When do expect the full release?
