Import from MyMaps (Google Maps) as restricted zone

Paco Labrador

Hi,

It would be very helpful for everyone if we would be able to import a waypoint series or a zone defined in Google Maps as a restricted zone, instead a collection of waypoints, checkpoints or map as Mabpox or HERE don't display any no-fly zone in a per country/location basis.

This way, I can create a template than can be used when I try to plan a mission near this no-fly zone.

Maybe is there any way to do it but I am unable to find it out.

I live in Spain and our flying restrictions information supplier is Enaire but there are many other map global suppliers that show the no-fly areas such AirMaps, Coverdrone (my assurance company) and many others. All of them have the updated no-fly zones defined but I think that are not available from the web app... In fact, I tried to export a zone from Enaire as csv but is not recognized by Dronelink.

https://drones.enaire.es/?locale=en

Any help will be really useful!

If you click the ... in the bottom right (map options), you can click Add Layer and put a kml boundary on the map for reference while planning.
