Verification Mission Heading not 0 Degrees to Path.

Daniel Snyder

Anyone using the "Verification Mission" feature? My flight is not looking straight ahead (like it should).   The Drone heading I have set to 270 degrees to patch and the Verification Mission flies at heading 270 degrees to path - not 0 degrees heading like I expected for the verification mission.    The only thing overridden is the Gimbal Pitch - which shows 0 Degrees - like expected.    .    Please can this be explained?  Am I doing something wrong?  I fly an Air 2S.

Also in Verification Mission - pictures are being taken at 10 second intervals.  Not sure what setting is causing that.  Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Daniel. Strange because I just tried Verificatiin mission preview with a plan which has a drone heading of 90° and it was at 0° on path. However, the gimbal pitch which is set at -13 Pitch was not at 0 as it should be.  Reverse of what your seeing but still may be an issue. We will Need to see if DL can help on this.

On the interval question, Can you share the plan so someone can look and see if the interval issue is hiding in there somewhere.

Moving to bug reports. We introduced marker-like properties on waypoints and the verification mission generator was written years before so it needs to be updated.

Yes -  it is fixed.  Verification flight is straight ahead.  Jim is fast!  Fast Jimmy!    Now why does it still take pictures every 10 seconds?  Picture taking should also be suppressed - correct?

The verification missions leave all the camera commands in so that you can verify the camera commands work with your drone.

Makes sense, that way the whole mission is verified
