Import Boundary Points KML for Map Missions

  • Updated

When mission planning with the Map mission component, it is possible to import KML boundary points for the map.

This is particularly useful if you want to keep the same settings from a previous map or other map component and only update the boundary points as you duplicate map components.

Within the Map Advanced Settings open:

Select Import Boundary Points (KML), and Select a KML file.

You can see in this example that we made a copy of a solar inspection map. Instead of dragging each of the boundary points to adjust the copy of the map, or creating a new map with the same settings, we will upload a KML.

Select the KML file from the pop-up and watch the map update.

Note, the map mission component name will also change to show the name of the imported file.
