On-the-Fly Waypoints - Generate Missions in the Field Using a Drone

  • Updated

Learn how to generate and fly a simple waypoint mission using On-the-Fly Waypoints, a workflow that uses the drones location to mark inputs, such as the GPS coordinate, altitude, and camera framing, in order to generate a waypoint mission.

In the video, use the On-the-Fly menu in the Dronelink Mobile App to open the Waypoints On-the-Fly mission. Following step-by-step instructions, a pilot is guided to fly the drone manually to mark locations used to generate the mission. Settings can be edited such as selecting the media type, speed, direction, and how to rotate the drone and gimbal. After generating the mission, it can be flown and is saved for future flights or editing.
